About the position

The Instructional Designer II at MedImpact Healthcare Systems is responsible for designing and developing training programs, e-learning content, and instructional materials aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of employees. This role focuses on creating engaging learning experiences for internal users, with occasional support for client training. The designer will analyze training needs, develop instructional strategies, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current training needs and design effective training programs.
  • Develop and implement instructional materials and e-learning content.
  • Evaluate the delivery and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Create course curriculum, learning objectives, and testing procedures.
  • Deliver training through various formats including e-learning and instructor-led sessions.
  • Research course content by consulting subject matter experts and relevant materials.
  • Create supporting materials such as user guides, quizzes, and multimedia content.
  • Monitor employee progress and provide assessments during training programs.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and efficient use of technology within the organization.
  • Stay current on instructional design concepts and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years of related training experience combining instructional design and classroom training.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating instructor-led and e-learning materials.
  • 1+ year experience with Government Regulatory agency protocols.
  • Strong working knowledge of instructional design software (Adobe Captivate, Articulate, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in instructional design or educational technology.
  • Experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Industry certifications in instructional design or curriculum development.
