About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for a variety of audiences. This role requires a deep understanding of instructional design principles, graphic design, and visual communication. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in design software and e-learning tools to develop high-quality instructional materials that enhance learning outcomes. The position involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze learning needs, design instructional strategies, and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. The Instructional Designer will also be expected to stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design and technology, ensuring that the learning solutions are innovative and effective. In this role, the Instructional Designer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time and meet the established quality standards. The candidate will be required to create storyboards, design graphics, and develop interactive e-learning modules that are visually appealing and pedagogically sound. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the Instructional Designer will work closely with various teams to gather feedback and make necessary revisions to the instructional materials. The position is contract-based for a duration of 6 months, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and effective instructional materials for various learning audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and design instructional strategies.
  • Develop storyboards and design graphics for e-learning modules.
  • Utilize design software and e-learning authoring tools to produce high-quality learning experiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary revisions based on feedback.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Animation, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design with a strong portfolio showcasing graphic design, visual design, and motion graphics work.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Evolve).
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
