The Instructional Designer II at Texas A&M University will play a crucial role in supporting faculty in the application of digital learning technologies, strategies, and best practices that align with the academic mission of the College of Arts and Sciences. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing educational experiences through innovative instructional design. The selected candidate will work closely with faculty to assess their pedagogical and curricular needs, ensuring that the digital learning technologies implemented are tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across the university. In this role, the Instructional Designer will engage with faculty who utilize various teaching modalities, aiming to improve instructional delivery through the effective use of digital learning environments. The responsibilities include collaborating on the design and implementation of training opportunities for course instructors, tracking and assessing the outcomes of these training sessions, and continuously improving the delivery of educational content. The Instructional Designer will also analyze data generated from the digital learning environment to inform decisions regarding third-party tools, student success metrics, and faculty development initiatives. This position requires a commitment to in-person work at the College Station campus, with potential travel to various locations for meetings and collaborations.
