The Instructional Designer III at Olgoonik Corporation is a pivotal role responsible for the design, development, and evaluation of curriculum in alignment with the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model, Standard Operating Procedures, and Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation (FLETA) standards. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with various program offices, subject matter experts (SMEs), multimedia specialists, and distributed learning designers to create effective lesson plans, student materials, and instructional media. The incumbent will be expected to lead the development of comprehensive training solutions that meet the needs of the organization and its learners. In this role, the Instructional Designer will design and implement complex training solutions, conduct needs analysis and assessments, and evaluate programs and instructors. The designer will utilize the ISD model to develop detailed lesson content and identify suitable training delivery mechanisms. Additionally, the position involves creating planning documents, student and instructor materials, and course presentations, while ensuring that all learning goals and objectives align with Training and Performance Standard Operating Procedures. The Instructional Designer III will also be responsible for evaluating courses and instructors based on established performance criteria, developing assessments in accordance with the Kirkpatrick model, and staying updated on relevant policy, law, and technology changes. Coordination with instructors, SMEs, and multimedia teams is essential, as is providing course management services, including revisions, evaluations, and recommendations for course retirement. The designer will maintain curriculum records, conduct reviews, and track revision history to ensure compliance with FLETA accreditation and adult education standards. This position requires a high degree of independence, with the expectation that the employee will work autonomously while adhering to established policies and practices.
