About the position

Apple's Instructional Products team is seeking an Instructional Designer to develop dynamic customer-facing materials for software, hardware, and services products. This role involves collaborating with team members to create clear, engaging, and visually appealing instructional content that helps users maximize their experience with Apple products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to design and write instructional content.
• Develop customer-facing materials for software, hardware, and services products.
• Research issues and develop innovative solutions for instructional content.
• Visualize and prototype compelling alternatives for presenting information.
• Write clear and engaging content tailored for different formats and audiences.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines.

Requirements

• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• Ability to quickly learn various tools for creating and debugging deliverables.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills.
• Flexibility and resourcefulness to adapt to changing business requirements.
• Four years' experience creating end-user instructional materials or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with software engineers, UX and graphic designers, and project managers.
• Experience in information design, user experience design, data analysis, usability testing, and human interface design.
• Experience balancing multiple projects and meeting aggressive timelines.
