About the position

The Instructional Designer Intern position at ABB offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in developing technical training solutions. The intern will work closely with the Technical Training Manager and collaborate with other instructional designers to create engaging training materials that support ABB's business objectives. Responsibilities

• Provides ABB Electrification Installation Products technical training solutions to internal, external, and end users.
• Responsible for all assigned product training requirements, including online e-learning, how-to-videos, webinar content, and face-to-face content creation.
• Assists in the needs assessment process and suggests improvements for training programs or materials.
• Collaborates with other Instructional Designers and subject matter experts in developing train-the-trainer materials.
• Storyboards and develops easily accessible technical solutions based on customer needs.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in relevant fields such as Teaching, Training, Educational Technologies, or Business Management.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills in English.
