About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for IT training programs. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to design, develop, and implement instructional materials that enhance the learning process and meet the needs of diverse learners.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and learning objectives.
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and assessments.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Utilize instructional design models and best practices to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Facilitate training sessions and provide support to learners during the training process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle or Canvas.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
