The Instructional Designer is a key role for developing and delivering impactful learning solutions with a focus on technical content. Ideal candidates will have a technical background and experience in the Oil and Gas or Pipeline industries. This position involves managing projects through all stages, from design to implementation, and ensuring that the learning materials are both technically accurate and engaging. The role may also include coordination with Flex team resources as needed. Essential duties and responsibilities include delivering high-quality service to clients by meeting requirements, exceeding expectations, and adhering to project schedules and budgets. The Instructional Designer will create and develop technical learning materials and solutions, including digital and blended learning formats, and design curricula and learning journeys tailored to the Oil and Gas/Pipeline industries. They will manage assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful delivery, and work closely with project managers and internal teams to meet project milestones. Collaboration with technical subject matter experts (SMEs), art directors, and developers is crucial to create accurate and engaging learning experiences. The role also involves engaging with clients and stakeholders to define technical content, learning objectives, and project requirements, providing updates and adjusting deliverables based on client feedback. Additionally, the Instructional Designer will develop clear and persuasive design documentation that reflects technical accuracy and relevance to industry needs, and analyze training outcomes to recommend adjustments to enhance the effectiveness of learning solutions based on feedback and evaluations.
