About the position

The Instructional Designer at St. Elizabeth Healthcare will focus on enhancing the presentation of online content and improving content delivery for presenters. This role involves collaborating with content experts, maintaining and updating courses on the learning management system (LMS), and providing technical support to associates. The position emphasizes respect and empathy in all interactions, ensuring a positive experience for patients, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Enhance presentation of online content and improve presenters' content delivery.
• Load and maintain content on the learning management system (LMS).
• Collaborate with others to refine ideas and create visually engaging experiences.
• Maintain and revise existing courses based on feedback and adult learning principles.
• Advise content experts on training strategies and appropriate media selection.
• Provide technical assistance and support to associates regarding the LMS.
• Train associates on running LMS reports and generate reports as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Graphic Design, or Learning Design and Technology.
• Three years of experience in graphic or instructional design.
• Proficient in software applications for web, video, desktop, and mobile platforms.
• Excellent writing and business communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft and Adobe products or equivalent authoring software.
