The Instructional Designer at MedCerts will play a pivotal role in the design and development of self-produced eLearning content, focusing on enhancing the delivery of all training programs offered by the organization. This position requires a creative and innovative approach to learning solutions, utilizing various methods and tools to create engaging educational experiences. The Instructional Designer will conduct regular needs assessments to ensure that the materials developed effectively address learner needs and close any performance gaps. Additionally, the role involves contributing to script and assessment writing for different course elements as needed. As a key member of the instructional design team, the Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with project managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), editors, learning technologists, and interactive media developers. This collaboration aims to revise and create new courses that are not only effective but also highly engaging and compliant with quality standards. The focus will be on maintaining and developing courses in various fields, including IT, soft skills, and project management. Candidates should be adept at creating dynamic and exciting learning content, with a strong emphasis on user-centered design, user experience (UX), and accessibility for all learners. The Instructional Designer will also mentor and support contracted SMEs throughout each project, establishing operational standards for all contractors. In some instances, the Instructional Designer may serve as an instructor, necessitating the maintenance of relevant credentials as required by licensing and regulatory authorities. This role is essential in ensuring that all instructional content aligns with pre-established objectives and knowledge domains set by third-party credentialing authorities, while also meeting the needs of employers and academic partners.
