About the position

The Instructional Designer (Technical Training) will be responsible for designing and developing critical learning programs, including eLearning, instructor-led training, technical product videos, and assessments. This role focuses on a process optimization project aimed at enhancing standardization and efficiency in customer engagement, covering the entire customer journey. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to execute the training strategy effectively.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Training Lead, Organizational Change Lead, and SMEs to develop and implement training materials.
• Participate in content and needs analysis.
• Identify and scope deliverables for training content.
• Design and develop engaging training content that meets learning objectives and adheres to adult learning principles.
• Manage review cycles with the Training Lead and SMEs, implementing feedback.
• Conduct peer review and quality assurance of deliverables.
• Implement and administer training, manage deliverables, translations, and a training sustainment strategy.
• Proactively communicate task and project status to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior experience with technical writing and/or technical training is strongly preferred.
• Comprehensive experience designing and developing eLearning, instructor-led training, assessments, and blended learning solutions.
• Demonstrated application of adult learning theory and evaluation tools.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with SMEs and other Instructional Designers.
• Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Articulate Storyline and Rise.
• Familiarity with Camtasia and SnagIt.
• Experience with project management tools like Smartsheet.
