About the position

In this collaborative role at AMD, you will be responsible for planning and developing online training modules and supporting materials for both internal and external clients. The position involves coordinating, managing, and executing all aspects of producing training materials, including researching, planning, and designing content across various formats such as eLearning, video, and printed materials. The role emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and a passion for developing engaging adult-learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and build engaging, informative, and visually compelling learning materials including eLearning modules and curriculum plans.
  • Define and document learning objectives and content aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct research and collaborate with content owners to secure product messaging and features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content for salespeople and partners.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules including content creation timelines and approvals.
  • Build online learning modules and assessments using authoring tools like Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Act as a learning consultant to understand business needs and connect learning strategies.
  • Ensure all training materials are consistent, up-to-date, and aligned with training goals.
  • Support the creation of standardized metrics and evaluation processes for training initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in instructional design and curriculum/courseware development.
  • Proficiency in eLearning technologies, particularly Articulate 360 and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Expertise in needs assessment design and evaluation strategy.
  • Understanding of adult learning and instructional design theory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated messaging and editing skills.
  • Interest in continuous improvement and skill maintenance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
  • Audio and video editing skills.
