Tempus Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children and adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in the least restrictive environment. The Instructional Designer will play a crucial role in designing and developing training programs for various internal and external stakeholders. This position requires collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to assess training needs and create impactful learning experiences that utilize a variety of delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and web-based formats. The goal is to ensure that all training materials are effective, engaging, and meet the necessary compliance standards, including ADA regulations. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for defining and documenting learning objectives in collaboration with cross-functional team members and SMEs. They will design and develop both technical and soft skills training, incorporating diverse formats such as group discussions, lectures, simulations, and videos to optimize learning for various target audiences. Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs will be a key responsibility, utilizing the four levels of measurement to ensure that learning outcomes are met. Additionally, the Instructional Designer will maintain master training files, create and manage a knowledge base, and conduct train-the-trainer sessions as needed. This role requires a proactive and independent individual who can take initiative and work comfortably in a collaborative environment.
