The Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain a variety of training content for multiple client areas, including computer-based training, facilitator-led training, blended learning, self-study, and job aids. This role requires applying solid instructional design skills and effectively using learning principles and creativity to create courses that transfer knowledge and engage participants in the learning process. Key project deliverables will include facilitator scripts, participant guides, eLearning modules, job aids/handouts, presentations, sales tools, training visuals, videos, and video scripts. Collaboration with business partners and subject matter experts is essential throughout the design process. The Instructional Designer will also be responsible for the quality control process and sustainment for all training content, which includes editing, proofreading, and ensuring consistency while leveraging expertise in grammar, punctuation, spelling, company nomenclature, and copyright compliance. In addition to content creation, the Instructional Designer will facilitate training sessions for all levels of the organization, including conducting Train-the-Trainer sessions. They will gain insights into clients' business operations through personal interactions, observations, and by experiencing the operations firsthand, such as taking phone calls and conducting job shadows. This role reports to the Manager of Learning Design and Development and is based in Celebration, FL. The Instructional Designer will be expected to manage training deliverables effectively, prioritize tasks within established guidelines, and maintain significant knowledge of all product offerings and policies. They will also be responsible for driving the quality control process, utilizing critical thinking skills to make strategic decisions, and ensuring that the needs of the Cast, Guest, and Business are considered in all decisions made.
