As an Instructional Designer at Copart, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing educational content and materials aimed at creating effective and engaging learning experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and business leaders to design and develop innovative instructional materials, curriculum, and training programs. You will analyze learning needs and translate them into actionable learning solutions, design instructional strategies, and create interactive content that aligns with educational objectives. This position requires you to conduct thorough research, select appropriate learning methodologies, and employ a variety of media formats to ensure optimal comprehension among learners. You will guide the development process from the initial concept to final implementation, ensuring that all learning solutions are effective and meet the needs of the audience. Monitoring the effectiveness of these solutions through ongoing assessments will be a key part of your role, allowing you to make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes. The position requires a basic skill set and proficiency, with work assignments conducted under close supervision, allowing for some latitude for independent judgment. In this role, you will partner with subject matter experts, project managers, and business leaders to analyze performance problems and design, develop, and deliver engaging content for a variety of audiences. This includes both instructor-led and virtual delivery modes, with clear strategies and tactics to achieve desired outcomes. You will also be responsible for designing training materials that enhance user experience in current classes and training, including PowerPoints, facilitator guides, participant guides, exams, and e-learning modules. Additionally, you will plan, manage, and ensure the timely completion of multiple simultaneous projects and efforts for programs, services, and other communications, while facilitating both in-person and virtual training classes.
