About the position

As an Instructional Designer at Lam Research, you will be instrumental in creating and sustaining high-quality training content that enhances business processes and supports critical strategies within the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) team. This role involves designing engaging learning experiences, managing training materials, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective learning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design training content that improves GWS business processes and supports critical business strategies.
  • Develop engaging and effective learning solutions using Articulate Storyline 360.
  • Manage and optimize learning content within the Cornerstone Learning Management System.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand design needs and determine the best learning solutions.
  • Lead the design and implementation of adult learning experiences that close skill gaps.
  • Ensure that adult learning, learning design, and Lam branding standards are applied and followed.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process.
  • Manage internal Sharepoint site.
  • Create and maintain Tririga training documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an instructional designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 and has 5+ years of experience designing content and delivering learning initiatives.
  • Experience applying adult learning principles, theories, concepts and development technologies, practical experience, and application of training development models.
  • Experience with learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360/Rise, Camtasia, WellSaid Labs, and Vyond.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
  • 3+ years of related experience in project management or program management.
  • Ability to design creative solutions using an iterative and collaborative approach.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cornerstone Learning Management System.
  • Experience with Sharepoint design and management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
