About the position

The Instructional Designer role is focused on creating and developing engaging training materials for various learning formats, including e-learning and instructor-led training. The position requires collaboration with team members and subject matter experts to enhance training effectiveness and ensure materials are tailored to specific audiences. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects, communicate effectively, and incorporate feedback to continuously improve training content.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively work with team members, SMEs, and business owners to create comprehensive training materials.
• Manage day-to-day activities of multiple projects and communicate status updates.
• Proactively identify changes in project scope and assess impacts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver training on urgent timelines.
• Support the delivery of training and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing training materials.
• Experience with the Training Development Life Cycle using the ADDIE model.
• 3+ years of experience with blended learning tools like Adobe Captivate and Articulate.
• Experience with video creation tools such as FinalCut Pro or Camtasia.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
• Experience in virtual training facilitation and engagement techniques.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodology and adult learning principles.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Self-directed with initiative to learn new applications independently.
