About the position

The Instructional Designer at Travel + Leisure Co. is responsible for analyzing training needs and developing effective learning solutions to enhance performance within the organization. This role involves creating various instructional materials, including e-learning modules and instructor-led training, while collaborating with business partners and subject matter experts. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work three days a week and remote work for the remaining two days.

Responsibilities

  • Design training programs and processes for internal business clients, including facilitator materials and e-learning modules.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and timely execution.
  • Design and report on post-course assessments, providing actionable recommendations based on results.
  • Facilitate Train the Trainer sessions for developed materials.
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as required by the role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Adult Learning, Business Management, or a related field with a virtual learning concentration.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management related to Training Content Development.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing learning experiences.
  • 2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Working knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodology and facilitation techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and remote meeting software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Utilization and administration of SCORM compliant Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning).
  • Working knowledge of eLearning development software (e.g., Articulate Storyline).
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe graphic software suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
