About the position

The Tier 2 Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator at Arch Systems, LLC is responsible for the advanced support and management of the organization's LMS ecosystem, particularly focusing on Moodle Workplace and its integrated components. This role requires a deep understanding of LMS functionalities, ensuring systems are optimized to meet strategic goals and security requirements. The administrator will lead architectural discussions, develop documentation, manage system integrations, and troubleshoot complex issues, serving as a primary contact for advanced support activities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Tier 2 expert in configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing LMS and related software applications.
• Lead architectural discussions regarding advanced configuration settings of the LMS and its integrated components.
• Develop and maintain detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation for Tier 2 support activities.
• Specialize in the integration of complex legacy systems and databases with the LMS.
• Serve as the primary Tier 2 contact for other administrators and IT personnel, resolving high-level network or system-related issues.
• Manage and prioritize Tier 2 support tickets, assessing their impact on system performance.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in LMS administration with a focus on Moodle Workplace, Big Blue Button, Rustici, IntelliBoard, and the Genius Student Information System at a Tier 2 support level.
• Advanced knowledge in system integration, configuration, and optimization best practices for LMS environments.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to create detailed reports and SOPs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse team.
