About the position

Stellantis Financial Services (SFS) is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality instructional materials and training programs that align with our company objectives. This role requires a high level of creativity, problem-solving skills, and expertise in instructional design principles. You will work independently with limited supervision, ensuring that all instructional materials are engaging, effective, and tailored to meet the needs of our diverse audience. In this position, you will create and design a variety of learning materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and other resources. Collaboration with subject matter experts is essential to gather and organize content, ensuring its accuracy and relevance. You will manage the instructional design process for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, you will review and edit training materials for clarity, consistency, and instructional effectiveness, while proposing creative solutions to enhance the learning experience and improve existing training programs. As part of your responsibilities, you will also coach and provide guidance to lower-level professionals within the team, aiding in their professional development. You will collaborate with peers and managers to address complex instructional design challenges and contribute to the continuous improvement of our learning processes. Responsibilities

  • Create and design engaging, effective, and interactive learning materials, including eLearning courses or instructor-led training, job aids, and other resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize content, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the target audience.
  • Manage and execute the instructional design process for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Review and edit training materials for clarity, consistency, and instructional effectiveness.
  • Propose and develop creative solutions to enhance the learning experience and improve existing training programs.
  • Coach and provide guidance to lower-level professionals within the team, aiding in their professional development.
  • Collaborate with peers and managers to address complex instructional design challenges and contribute to the improvement of learning processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years related experience in instructional design or a similar field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing a variety of learning materials, including eLearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, and assessments.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Practical knowledge of project management techniques to oversee instructional design projects from initiation to completion.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Basic graphic design skills or proficiency in using graphic design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders; change management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in training or facilitation role within the indirect auto finance market, banking/finance company/auto industry.
  • Advanced training or certifications in human resources, talent development, or related fields.
