The Instructional Design and New Media team at EdPlus is seeking a driven, creative, and adaptable Instructional Designer who is passionate about learning and committed to improvement. This role involves collaborating with faculty, subject matter experts, and other staff to design and develop online courses and course materials that apply adult learning theory and instructional design methodology while utilizing appropriate technology. In this position, you will have the opportunity to create high-quality, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences for diverse learners. You will work closely with faculty and instructional designers across the ASU campus on transformational projects aimed at improving learning at scale. Your responsibilities will include collaboratively planning, designing, developing, and revising for-credit online courses and course materials to meet university and department standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding faculty training offerings, developing training materials, and recommending effective uses of technology to enhance instruction. Additionally, you will remain current on emerging technologies that can add value to online teaching and learning, design evaluation procedures to assess the effectiveness of technology use, and provide technology support for online teaching and learning products. This role requires a strong commitment to collaboration and innovation, as well as the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
