About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences for various audiences. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to design and develop instructional materials, utilizing best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles. The Instructional Designer will also assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and objectives.
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and assessments.
  • Utilize best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay current with trends in instructional design and technology to enhance learning solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
