As an Instructional Designer at Yum! Brands, you will play a crucial role in the needs analysis, design, development, and evaluation of training programs across various modalities. This includes online, virtual instructor-led, and in-person learning experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass creating leader materials, simulations, paper-based training materials, engagement components, workshops, and assessments to support various KFC-US product, people development, process, or system initiatives. You will be expected to drive a focus on building people capability through innovative and creative training solutions while gaining alignment with cross-functional partners. In this role, you will manage multiple projects, ensuring that all training initiatives are delivered on time and within budget. You will leverage the ADDIE model to create comprehensive training project plans, track key milestones, and manage training budgets. Your ability to influence training strategy and collaborate with cross-functional partners will be essential to your success. You will also be responsible for designing and developing large-scale learning solutions that utilize various approaches, including eLearning, gamification, and micro-learning. By employing storytelling techniques, you will enhance learner engagement and retention. Additionally, you will evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives, using data to measure and improve training delivery processes. As an instructional design expert, you will challenge the status quo and continuously seek ways to improve training design and efficiency. Staying updated on industry trends and innovations will be key to your role, as will your ability to educate cross-functional partners on training roles and accountabilities.
