The Instructional Designer is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for the comprehensive analysis, design, development, and evaluation of training materials. This position encompasses a variety of course development formats, including online e-learning, virtual classrooms, and live instructor-led sessions. The Instructional Designer will engage in in-depth needs analysis to uncover both learner and organizational needs, identify performance gaps, and adapt to changes in work processes, procedures, and technologies. This role requires a proactive approach to utilizing training authoring and multimedia tools and software for assigned development projects, ensuring that the training materials are not only effective but also engaging and aligned with the latest research in training and development, learning theory, and motivation theory. In addition to the design and development of training programs, the Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to determine the most effective learning solutions tailored to specific situations. The role also involves acting as a project manager for the implementation of these learning solutions, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly and efficiently. The Instructional Designer will create assessment tools, including test questions, activities, and exercises, to measure the effectiveness of the training and the trainees' learning outcomes. Furthermore, managing and populating training course data within the learning management system is a critical responsibility, ensuring that all training materials are accessible and organized for learners.
