About the position

The Learning Specialist position is a contract role based in Sacramento, California, focused on supporting the JRTA unit and the broader CARE unit. The role involves drafting educational materials, updating online content, preparing webinars, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance training resources and strategies related to the CFSR PIP goals.

Responsibilities

• Draft curriculum and resources including fact sheets and bench guides for judges and attorneys.
• Update online content on JCART to fulfill CFSR PIP goals.
• Prepare webinars for judicial partners on PIP strategies.
• Attend meetings with CDSS offices regarding the Tribal Dependency Representation Program and other CFSR bureaus involved in PIP implementation.
• Work with web services to ensure that trainings and resources reach all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in adult learning.
• 5 years of experience in online education.
• 5 years of experience in training and development.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of adult education, online education, and/or podcasts.
