About the position

FCCI is seeking an Instructional Designer to join our HR/Learning & Development team. This position plays a crucial role in developing and facilitating training curriculum and materials that address the identified training and knowledge needs across the organization. The Instructional Designer will utilize best practice Adult Learning principles and state-of-the-art learning technologies to design effective learning programs that can be delivered through various media, including eLearning, self-paced modules, small group sessions, or virtual delivery methods. The role can be based at our corporate headquarters in Sarasota, FL, or at one of our regional/branch offices located in Lake Mary, FL, Lawrenceville, GA, Richardson, TX, or Ridgeland, MS. In this position, you will be responsible for writing material for new training programs, as well as reviewing, evaluating, and modifying existing and proposed programs. You will recommend appropriate changes based on your assessments. Additionally, you will plan and coordinate skills assessments and training initiatives, analyze employee learning needs to provide input for course content, and provide instruction and guidance to trainers. You may also facilitate training sessions during the introduction of new courses. A key aspect of this role will be to develop and monitor metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.
