About the position

The Instructional Designer position at Modis involves designing and developing web-based learning solutions for internal customers. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to create effective, SCORM-compliant training courses that meet the needs of adult learners while adhering to project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Perform needs analysis for training interventions
• Design and develop training and training evaluations
• Work with subject matter experts and internal customers
• Ensure training meets accepted standards for adult learners

Requirements

• Typical instructional design skills as identified in the ISD Model (needs assessment, design, development, evaluation)
• Strong skills with MS Windows, MS Office, Sharepoint, Webex
• Strong skills with Camtasia, Captivate, Articulate, and Lectora
• Adobe graphic applications
• Effective communications skills
• Team orientation
• Strong customer relation skills
• Able to facilitate meetings both in person and virtually
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal guidance
• Able to design and develop web-based courses and meet project constraints

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SABA
• SCORM compliant shells
• HTML
• Project management skills
• 5 years of experience in a corporate training environment
