About the position

The Global Sales Enablement Team is a dynamic group of over 50 program managers, sales experts, instructional designers, trainers, and coaches dedicated to driving behavior change in the field to enhance sales performance. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in this team by designing and building a variety of sales enablement training programs, courses, and assets aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of our sales teams. This position is ideal for creative individuals who enjoy designing workshops, editing videos, creating graphics, outlining courses, streamlining copy, facilitating instructor-led training, and crafting visually compelling presentations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts across the organization to produce a diverse range of content, including live instructor-led workshops (both in-person and virtual), on-demand e-learning courses, job aids, and various sales enablement tools such as videos, infographics, slide decks, logos, flow charts, and diagrams. Your responsibilities will encompass curriculum design, lesson design, content creation, learning assessment, and consulting, ensuring that all training materials are engaging, effective, and tailored to meet the needs of our sales teams. You will be responsible for defining the scope and objectives of training programs, designing interactive assets and courseware, creating visually appealing slide decks, and developing assessments to measure knowledge transfer. Additionally, you will create and edit video and podcast content, manage courses in various Learning Management Systems (LMS), and evaluate skills gaps to recommend training solutions. Responsibilities

  • Design curriculum and define the scope, objectives, storyboard, and outlines for training programs and learning paths.
  • Create interactive assets, courseware, and videos using adult learning theory that appeals to various learning styles and international audiences.
  • Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to develop content.
  • Write, develop, and update lesson content for training programs.
  • Design and develop interactive online courses using Articulate Rise 360.
  • Create visually appealing slide decks for training programs.
  • Design engaging activities and assignments to ensure learners practice and refine their skills.
  • Design quizzes, knowledge checks, assessments, certifications, and skills-based evaluations to ensure knowledge transfer.
  • Create storyboards, write scripts, record voiceovers, and produce and edit video and podcast content.
  • Create logos, diagrams, infographics, process flowcharts, and other visual content for learning programs.
  • Upload and manage courses in Workday Learning, Highspot, and other LMS and CMS systems.
  • Evaluate skills gaps and recommend training solutions through needs analysis.
  • Work with program managers to measure the success of learning programs using the Kirkpatrick model.
  • Offer advice and expertise to improve enablement programs based on learning best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning & development.
  • Ability to create visually appealing courses, content, diagrams, and slides that are clean, modern, and well laid out.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple terms and organize them in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Experience with common sales tools such as Salesforce, Clari, and Outreach.
  • Experience with design tools including Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia Video Editing, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, balancing multiple projects and prioritizing time effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
