About the position

Apple's Instructional Products team is looking for an Instructional Designer to create engaging and user-friendly instructional materials for various Apple products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop content that enhances user experience and helps customers maximize their use of Apple products.

Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic customer-facing materials for software, hardware, and services products.
• Collaborate with team members to design and write clear and engaging content.
• Visualize and prototype compelling alternatives for presenting instructional information.
• Research issues and develop innovative solutions for instructional content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements

• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into friendly language.
• Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn various tools for creating and debugging deliverables.
• Four years' experience creating end-user instructional materials or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with software engineers, UX and graphic designers, and project managers.
• Experience in information design, user experience design, data analysis, usability testing, and human interface design.
• Experience balancing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting aggressive timelines.
