The Instructional Designer at Bright Horizons Children's Centers LLC is responsible for designing and developing high-impact, scalable learning experiences that utilize blended modalities and technologies. This role supports enterprise-wide leadership and professional development programs, change management initiatives, and enhancements to functional and system processes for corporate team employees. The Instructional Designer will lead internal project intake processes, assessing how learning can meet business needs and recommending solutions that support performance and behavior change. In this position, the designer will create innovative solutions to close knowledge and skill gaps through learning and advanced use of technology. They will develop learning and performance solutions by facilitating end-user feedback, gathering input from subject matter experts, and researching external sources of knowledge. Managing stakeholders and subject matter experts in the content development process is crucial to ensure alignment, engagement, and expectation management. The role involves designing and developing various learning materials, including eLearning modules, PowerPoint presentations, on-demand training, job aids, and infographics, using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, and similar technologies. The Instructional Designer will apply appropriate instructional design and user experience methodologies to create an optimal learner journey and intended user experience. Continuous course maintenance and improvement are also part of the responsibilities, ensuring that content remains current and courses are functional on Bright Horizons' learning management system. Additionally, the designer will collaborate with outside vendors to update and develop existing and new eLearning courses.
