The position involves a significant focus on course design and development, with 60% of the role dedicated to working with faculty and staff to create online and hybrid courses using the Canvas learning management system. Responsibilities include performing Quality Matters informal reviews, supporting course delivery, and evaluating the effectiveness of online course materials. Additionally, 20% of the role is dedicated to faculty support, which includes designing and delivering workshops and training in online teaching and instructional technologies. The position also involves collaboration with Digital Media Coordinators and other campus partners to implement technologies that enhance teaching and learning, accounting for 10% of the role. The remaining 5% is allocated to research and exploring new pedagogical techniques and technologies, along with other related duties as assigned.
