About the position

The Instructional Designer at PacificSource is a subject matter expert responsible for creating engaging training programs and instructional materials. This role focuses on developing both facilitator-led and eLearning experiences, utilizing various authoring tools and instructional design models to enhance learning outcomes and support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive and customized eLearning content using Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Create facilitator-led content that promotes social and experiential learning.
  • Ensure alignment with instructional design principles and best practices.
  • Leverage knowledge of Workday Learning for effective Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate content into the Workday platform.
  • Utilize instructional design models like ADDIE, SAM, and RAPID Prototyping to craft effective learning experiences.
  • Work with subject matter experts to gather information and design content that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate change management strategies for the adoption of new learning initiatives.
  • Develop and manage Gantt charts to monitor project timelines and milestones.
  • Oversee end-to-end learning programs from needs assessment through evaluation.
  • Monitor and report on program effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze performance gaps and design learning interventions to address identified needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions that enhance individual and organizational performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience creating facilitator-led and eLearning content using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end learning programs.
  • Experience in classroom facilitation and change management using the ADKAR model preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with instructional design models, including ADDIE, SAM, and RAPID Prototyping.
