About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating and enhancing digital learning content for internal field sales representatives and healthcare professionals within the digital surgery division of a Fortune 50 Pharmaceutical and Medical Device company. This role involves designing new educational materials and improving existing ones to ensure they are engaging and user-friendly. The designer will collaborate closely with technical, clinical, and marketing subject matter experts (SMEs) and must be capable of managing projects independently while delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital learning content for internal field sales representatives and healthcare professionals.
• Enhance existing learning materials to improve engagement and user-friendliness.
• Collaborate with technical, clinical, and marketing SMEs to gather content requirements.
• Drive projects independently and ensure high-quality delivery on short timelines.
• Create time-sensitive curriculum and educational formats from existing technical manuals.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience as an instructional designer.
• Proficient with eLearning tools such as Articulate, Rise, Storyline, and Vyond (Articulate and Vyond preferred).
• Experience designing time-sensitive curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Proven track record of being a self-starter.
