About the position

ICF is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create dynamic and engaging learning content with a focus on user-centered design, user experience (UX), and accessibility. The role involves developing a variety of instructional materials and providing feedback on team members' work, all while working collaboratively within an instructional design team.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an instructional design team under the supervision of a Lead Learning Solutions Designer or Project Manager.
• Design, develop, and document instructor-led, paper-based, and responsive technology-delivered curricula and performance support solutions.
• Participate in the development and review of products for adherence to style and storyboard guidelines, writing standards, course/task flow, and designing for standards such as SCORM and Section 508 compliance.

Requirements

• 7 years of work experience
• 2 years of experience in Instructional Design

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Instructional Design or Education preferred
• Experience in the full life cycle of the instructional systems design (ISD) process
• Ability to develop clear and concise linear and non-linear storyboards for online developers
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Superior use of the English language including the ability to read, comprehend, and communicate information and ideas effectively
