About the position

The Learning Consultant at Upbound Group is tasked with managing the design and development of projects that facilitate a blended learning approach aimed at engaging, equipping, and empowering coworkers throughout the organization. This role is pivotal in creating high-quality, innovative deliverables, which include instructor-led courses, e-learning modules, and micro-learning options. The Learning Consultant will ensure that these deliverables address learning opportunities at both corporate and field locations, all while adhering to specified project timeframes. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Learning Consultant will work closely with team members and various departments to identify effective solutions and achieve project goals. Effective communication is essential, as the role requires maintaining a constructive two-way flow of information with both the team and subject matter experts regarding all assigned projects. The Learning Consultant will also manage projects and timelines, ensuring the quality of their work aligns with established project plans, quality assurance protocols, and requisite company standards. In addition to project management, the Learning Consultant will review and assess current project content and delivery methods. They will leverage external learnings, known best practices, and evolving organizational needs to make recommendations for enhancements. This role demands excellent organizational skills, time management, and task flexibility, with the ability to prioritize competing projects and adapt to changing priorities. The Learning Consultant will also build and apply business acumen to all project deliverables and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality innovative deliverables, including instructor-led courses, e-learning modules, and micro-learning options.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to identify solutions and achieve project goals.

• Manage projects and timelines while ensuring quality adherence to established project plans and company standards.
• Review and assess current project content and delivery methods, making recommendations for enhancements based on best practices.
• Demonstrate excellent organization skills, time management, and task flexibility.
• Build and apply business acumen on all project deliverables.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in the design and development of learning plans.
• Proven working knowledge of adult learning theories.
• Exceptional project management, organizational, multi-tasking, creativity, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a proven result orientation.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and technology-based training solutions, such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.
• Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with other design or development programs such as Go Animate, Camtasia, and Lectora is beneficial.
