About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning tools and resources. This role requires a strong background in instructional design and adult learning principles, with a focus on creating impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts and utilize various content creation tools to enhance educational delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce engaging learning tools such as courses, assessments, videos, guides, podcasts, and eBooks.
• Utilize video and photo editing software, authoring tools, and multimedia tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate) to create and enhance instructional materials.
• Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content aligns with organizational guidelines and reflects key priorities.
• Upload and manage learning content within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and provide technical support to users.
• Stay up to date with trends and best practices in online learning, actively troubleshooting issues and ensuring continuous improvement of learning materials.

Requirements

• Expertise in instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and online education strategies.
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and multimedia tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and SCORM-compliant content creation.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and resolving technical issues related to course deployment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and project teams.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
