About the position

The Instructional Designer at HyerTek will play a crucial role in supporting federal clients by creating and delivering effective training programs. This remote position requires a detail-oriented individual who can design content-specific trainings using various models, including webinars and live virtual sessions. The role emphasizes collaboration with functional leads and developers to ensure the training meets user needs and leverages the client's Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional design, development, and delivery services.
• Leverage the client's Learning Management System (LMS) to assess knowledge gain and report training progress across defined user groups.
• Disseminate pre and post-training tests and surveys, then review the results to identify training improvements.
• Aid the client in designing trainings across a variety of models e.g., live, self-paced, etc.
• Provide logistical support for training events.
• Identify the KSAs required for success in a specific learner context.
• Work in collaboration with functional leads and developers to develop training packages and supplementary documentation to support the needs of the user community.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Captivate and Adobe Learning Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, human resources, or similar field.
• 3+ years of instructional design and development experience.
• Experience developing cutting-edge and digital learning.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Program and project management expertise.
• Experience in executing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in applying adult learning theory and iterative instructional design methodologies.
