The Instructional Designer is responsible for the design and development of e-learning courseware across various modules. This role involves creating and maintaining PowerPoint presentations, tutorials, and managing the internal Learning Management System (LMS) along with other ad hoc knowledge management documentation deliverables. The Instructional Designer will utilize authoring tools, particularly Adobe Captivate, to develop SCORM-compliant e-learning courseware. This includes the creation of software simulation tutorials that incorporate text-to-speech features, as well as quizzes and assessments to evaluate learner understanding. Collaboration is key in this position, as the Instructional Designer will work closely with the on-site team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. They will also be responsible for maintaining the e-learning courseware for various versions of the modules and administering the LMS to ensure that all content is up-to-date and accessible. The role requires a strong analytical mindset to understand and analyze the functionalities of the product, ensuring that the courseware meets quality standards and adheres to delivery schedules and style guide compliance. The ideal candidate will be independent, self-driven, and able to work collaboratively within a team. They should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A background in Learning and Development (L&D) with a focus on instructional design is essential, along with a solid educational foundation in a relevant field.
