About the position

The Instructional Designer role focuses on creating effective instructional materials and training programs to support customer service and sales teams. The position requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. The designer will work closely with internal and external clients to develop engaging and effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on design principles.
• Develop instructional materials and training programs for customer service and sales.
• Simplify complex concepts into easy-to-read, concise content.
• Manage vendor-training groups to deploy training effectively.
• Utilize various multimedia tools to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their training needs and adapt designs accordingly.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Education, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instructional Design and Training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe products (InDesign, Illustrator).
• Knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) and e-Learning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, iSpring).
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and emerging learning technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with video creation tools such as Camtasia or Adobe Premiere Pro.
• A unique skill or passion related to videography, graphic design, or gamification.
• Familiarity with Absorb LMS.
