About the position

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and effective multimedia learning solutions in a remote setting. This role involves reviewing existing training materials, developing new content, and ensuring that all materials meet brand, legal, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects and collaborate with multimedia developers to produce high-quality learning modules.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing training materials and determine necessary updates to meet business needs.
  • Write production-ready copy that is free of errors and adheres to brand and compliance standards.
  • Develop and edit eLearning modules, infographics, motion graphic videos, and instructor-led classes.
  • Communicate design requirements to multimedia developers for functional learning module creation.
  • Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Strong background in instructional design.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with agile instructional design and development.
  • Proficiency in Articulate 360 and Camtasia.
  • Experience in storyboarding and project management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Canva for graphic design.
  • Knowledge of WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
