About the position

The University of Miami's Department of Medical Student Education is seeking a full-time Instructional Designer to join their team in Miami, FL. This role is pivotal in planning and implementing engaging learning activities and compelling course content tailored to meet the learning needs of a specific target audience. The Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with subject matter experts to conduct needs assessments and analyses, identifying new development needs for the audience. The position requires designing and creating engaging learning activities that enhance retention and transfer of knowledge, as well as identifying effective methodologies for delivering curated content. In this role, the Instructional Designer will stay updated on emerging technologies that can be integrated into courses, clearly stating instructional and learning goals while creating content and assessments that align with these objectives.
