Responsibilities
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts and L&D professionals to design and develop comprehensive in-house training programs.
- Assist in facilitating needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and determine learning objectives.
- Utilize a variety of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE) to create innovative and engaging training content, including e-learning modules, instructor-led sessions, job aids, and blended learning experiences.
- Create training materials that incorporate adult learning principles and instructional best practices to enhance knowledge retention and application and achieve learning objectives.
- Continuously improve training programs by incorporating feedback, keeping content up-to-date, and integrating new technologies or learning methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and Subject Matter Experts to gather information and verify content accuracy.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Provide input on curriculum design, course development, and content organization.
- Other duties as assigned by Learning and Development Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in instructional design or developing training content.
- Demonstrated experience working with SMEs to develop effective training programs.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong creative skills related to generating learning content including: copy-writing, editing, graphic design, video production and editing, sound editing.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Office.
- Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design models, and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Adobe Creative suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Audition, Premiere.
- Certification in instructional design or a related area.
- Familiarity with gamification, microlearning, and other innovative training methods.
