About the position

The Instructional Designer at Freedom Forever is responsible for developing engaging and effective learning content to meet organizational training needs. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training requirements and create instructional materials that align with the company's professional development goals.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Senior Instructional Designer and subject matter experts to contribute to the instructional design process.
• Participate in needs analysis sessions to identify learning requirements and define key learning objectives for training programs.
• Utilize various technologies to create learning experiences, including digital content and facilitated sessions.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments and surveys.
• Collaborate in reviewing existing training content for alignment with business requirements and audience suitability.
• Implement revisions based on feedback from subject matter experts and stakeholders.
• Manage the learning management system (LMS) and assist in user experience and content organization.
• Ensure training materials comply with industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing research to stay informed about industry best practices in Instructional Design.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems
• Minimum of 3 years' experience with Instructional Design
• 2 years of Solar Industry experience is a plus, but not required
