The purpose of this role is to execute the design, development, and delivery of a wide range of learning experiences of varying scope and complexity within our maintenance department. This role will incorporate the latest thinking in technology, instructional design, and content development to delight our customers and move our business forward. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for creating compelling and impactful learning experiences that keep pace with the evolving ways people are consuming and being impacted by information. It is essential that the offerings engage end users and support a high transfer of learning. In this position, the Instructional Designer will facilitate effective needs assessments, establish learning outcomes, and build and execute learning design plans. This involves partnering with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify learning objectives and recommend effective solutions. Staying current on the latest and best thinking in learning science, learning design, and technology is crucial. The designer will continually scan, analyze, and leverage the most appropriate strategies, methodologies, and technology to elevate the learning experience and impact. Additionally, the role requires integrating state-of-the-art technology to create high-quality, innovative learning content and materials in various formats, including e-learning courses, training videos, in-person programs, live online programs, print, graphics, and user guides. The Instructional Designer will also be expected to handle other projects and tasks as assigned, ensuring a dynamic and responsive approach to learning and development within the organization.
