About the position

The Instructional Designer at Ross University School of Medicine will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive training program tailored to the enrollment team. This role emphasizes the development of engaging training content focused on sales methodologies, consultative selling, and data-driven decision-making, aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of enrollment advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging training modules and materials focusing on strategic enrollment methodologies and best practices.
  • Design comprehensive onboarding and ongoing learning experiences aligned with the enrollment team's strategic goals.
  • Create content that enhances key skills for fostering prospect engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure a consistent and scalable training approach across the enrollment team for both new hires and experienced advisors.
  • Measure the impact of training and leverage data to refine curriculum and training programs.
  • Design assessments and quizzes to gauge learning outcomes and identify areas for additional support.
  • Analyze performance data and gather feedback to recommend targeted training interventions.
  • Collaborate with enrollment leaders and stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure alignment with enrollment strategies.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to incorporate best practices into training materials.
  • Utilize e-learning authoring tools to build interactive modules showcasing effective enrollment techniques.
  • Manage course content within the Learning Management System (LMS) for easy access and tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning and Development, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, specifically for sales teams or enrollment advisors in higher education.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, including consultative sales and pipeline management.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and experience managing content within an LMS.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, effective with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends in instructional design and sales training.
