About the position

The Global Sales Enablement Team is a dynamic group of over 50 program managers, sales experts, instructional designers, trainers, and coaches dedicated to driving behavior change in the field to enhance sales performance. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in this team by designing and building a variety of sales enablement training programs, courses, and assets aimed at developing the knowledge and skills of our sales teams. This position is ideal for a creative individual who enjoys designing workshops, editing videos, creating graphics, outlining courses, streamlining copy, facilitating instructor-led training, and crafting visually compelling presentations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with subject matter experts across the organization to produce a diverse range of content, including live instructor-led workshops (both in-person and virtual), on-demand e-learning courses, and job aids that provide clear instructions for sales processes. You will also be responsible for creating additional sales enablement tools such as videos, infographics, slide decks, logos, flow charts, and diagrams. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring that our sales teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles. Your responsibilities will encompass curriculum design, lesson design, content creation, learning assessment, and consulting. You will define the scope and objectives of training programs, design interactive assets and courseware, create engaging online courses using Articulate Rise 360, and develop visually appealing slide decks. Additionally, you will design assessments to measure knowledge transfer and create multimedia content, including videos and podcasts. You will also manage course uploads in various Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS), evaluate skills gaps, and provide recommendations for training and coaching to enhance program effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Design curriculum and define the scope, objectives, storyboard, and outlines for training programs and learning paths.
  • Create and edit lesson content, ensuring it is engaging and meets the learning needs of the sales team.
  • Design interactive assets, courseware, and videos using adult learning theory.
  • Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to develop content.
  • Design and develop interactive online courses in Articulate Rise 360.
  • Create visually appealing slide decks for training programs.
  • Design engaging activities and assignments for learners to practice and refine their skills.
  • Design quizzes, knowledge checks, assessments, certifications, and skills-based evaluations.
  • Create storyboards, write scripts, and produce video and podcast content.
  • Create logos, diagrams, infographics, and other visual content for learning programs.
  • Upload and manage courses in Workday Learning, Highspot, and other LMS and CMS systems.
  • Evaluate skills gaps and recommend training, enablement, and coaching solutions.
  • Measure the success of learning programs using the Kirkpatrick model.
  • Advise program managers and trainers to improve enablement programs based on learning best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, training, or learning & development.
  • Ability to create visually appealing courses, content, diagrams, and slides that are clean and modern.
  • Skill in translating complex concepts into simple terms and organizing them for easy understanding.
  • Experience with common sales tools such as Salesforce, Clari, and Outreach.
  • Proficiency in design tools including Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Camtasia Video Editing, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, balancing multiple projects and prioritizing time effectively.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in creating e-learning content and interactive learning experiences.
  • Familiarity with video production and editing techniques.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
