About the position

The Instructional Designer is responsible for creating engaging and effective learning experiences by collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders. This role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing instructional materials that enhance team member engagement and performance.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging e-learning courses, instructor-led training sessions, job aids, and assessments tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Partner with SMEs and key stakeholders to develop content, ensuring accuracy and relevance through regular review cycles.
• Oversee internal and external systems to ensure optimal functionality, troubleshoot user issues, and maintain an organized course library.
• Maintain a comprehensive company-wide course library, including a development calendar and a course review schedule.
• Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently, adhering to established timelines and quality standards.
• Address day-to-day inquiries related to required training programs, ensuring learners have the support they need.
• Participate in various training initiatives as assigned, bringing creativity and expertise to each project.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Human Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in instructional design or related field
• Proficiency in e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Vyond, Wondershare, Adobe, Audacity, Canva, Vimeo) & Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Strong communication & collaboration skills
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Bilingual: English/Spanish or English/Marshallese
• Ability to travel 1-2 times per year
