The CCO Instructional Design level I position at TEKsystems involves planning and managing instructional design projects and initiatives within the business unit and across the organization. The primary focus is to develop instructional courses that are tailored to meet the desired learning outcomes and needs of Navy Federal and its learners. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to implement effective strategies for educating and training employees, ultimately aiming to enhance their performance levels. The instructional designer will utilize a variety of techniques to define and sequence instructional content and strategies, ensuring that the training provided is both effective and engaging. In this role, the instructional designer will advise and assist trainers based on course evaluation results, ensuring that the training materials are continuously improved. Collaboration is key, as the designer will work with others to plan and design courses and curricula, ensuring the accuracy of content and the integration of multimedia elements. Conducting needs assessments at the request of business unit management is also a critical responsibility, as it allows for the provision of customized training or individual guidance aimed at improving and developing employee performance. The position also involves creating and editing new learning management system (LMS) learning activities, setting up required training assignments, and generating custom LMS reports. The instructional designer will be responsible for creating dynamic instructional and training materials using current technologies, which may include references and support tools that reinforce training, increase efficiency, and help produce error-free work. Additionally, the designer will develop and test course content, training games, graphic designs, and other technology-driven products to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for employees.
