About the position

As an Instructional Designer at Heatcraft Refrigeration, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and developing training curricula and materials to meet specific training needs. This role involves analyzing learning needs, collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring that course materials are relevant and up-to-date. You may also facilitate training sessions and track the effectiveness of training programs through various assessments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and develop training curricula and materials.
• Analyze learning needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
• Plan and coordinate skill assessments and training.
• Work with management to ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs.
• Facilitate training during the introduction of new courses.
• Track and analyze training programs by examining learner satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance.
• Provide instruction and guidance to trainers.
• Design computer-based training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Instruction Design processes and techniques including training analysis, design, development, and evaluation.
• Highly skilled in the development of participant and instructor guides for instructor-led training.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
• HVAC industry background preferred.
