About the position

The Instructional Designer will be a key member of the Learning and Development Team, responsible for designing and developing training programs, curriculum, and materials for various audiences. This role involves consulting with subject matter experts to define learning objectives, creating engaging learning experiences, and evaluating training effectiveness. The position requires both independent and collaborative work within the Instructional Design team.

Responsibilities

• Creates learning experiences and environments.
• Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards.
• Develops instructor's manuals and other learning tools.
• Collaborates with subject experts to develop course content.
• Manages a knowledge base and LMS site.
• Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content.
• Trains instructors on effective learning strategies to achieve desired metrics.
• Facilitates discussion and collaboration with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Keeps current on best practices in instructional design.
• Writes scripts for video and audio content.
• Assesses learning to produce the best learner-centric environment.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, adult learning, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years' experience in instructional design.
• Confidence with Adobe suite, Articulate, Camtasia platforms, and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills.
